  • HB527 provides additional penalties for violations of by persons with a BAC of at least 0.15 percent blood alcohol level, to include abstention from consuming alcoholic beverages and a requirement to wear a continuing alcohol monitoring device.

September 2011

  • The Governor signed a bill (SB 267) reserving prison space for the most dangerous offenders by limiting probationers who violate the terms of their release to 90 days prison unless they commit a new crime.
